Be part of the growing team at the Velocity Lounge & Driving Range! The Line Cook is responsible for preparation of high-quality food in a timely, sanitary and consistent manner. The incumbent must be prepared to work as a team member in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment.


  • Daily food preparation following par and prep list.
  • Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines
  • Putting away and organizing incoming supplier food and beverage orders
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • Prepare sauces and garnishes for the assigned station
  • Communication with coworkers and front of house regarding features and stock shortages
  • Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout shift
  • Cleans and maintains station during and after use
  • Ensure timely preparation of all meals
  • Serve food in the proper portion size and temperature
  • Perform other related duties as required


  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Eager to learn basic kitchen skills
  • Current Food Safe certification
  • Previous line cooking experience considered an asset
  • Basic knife skills and safety
  • Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Early morning, day, evening, and night shifts may be required
