The Velocity Driving Range at the Campbell River Golf Club is virtual golf fun “fore” everyone. It’s a sports lounge, social hangout, coach’s corner and party central. Be part of our growing team that offers amazing food and loads of golf fun!

The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner.


  • Daily food preparation following par and prep list.
  • Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines
  • Putting away and organizing incoming supplier food and beverage orders
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications
  • Prepare sauces and garnishes for the assigned station
  • Communication with coworkers and front of house regarding features and stock shortages
  • Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout shift
  • Cleans and maintains station during and after use
  • Ensure timely preparation of all meals
  • Serve food in the proper portion size and temperature
  • Perform other related duties as required


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Eager to learn basic kitchen skills
  • Current Food Safe certification
  • Previous line cooking experience considered an asset
  • Basic knife skills and safety
  • Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
