Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve been busy turning the Campbell River Golf & Country Club into a new kind of golf experience. And a lot of you are wondering what that means. We aren’t ready to give all the surprises away yet – and honestly, we’re not totally sure where this adventure will take us – but we want to answer as many of your wonderings as possible. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions. The one big caveat is that a lot depends on Mother Nature and she’s a fickle friend. Just know we’re working hard to open the golf course, driving range and everything else we’ve got in the works as soon as possible. We can’t wait to share it all with you. Thank you for your patience!
When is the golf course opening?
We have a tentative plan to open the golf course during the Spring / Summer of 2018. Timing is totally dependant on the weather. A lot of the course was seeded this spring and will take a few months of good growing conditions before it is playable.
We will only open the course when all 18 holes are ready to play. The front 9 may look playable – it was seeded last fall – but the back nine will take longer to mature. We’re anxious to play the brand new course too, but we don’t want to jeopardize the quality of the grass in the long term by playing it too early.
Will residents with private golf carts be able to use them on the course?
No personal carts will be allowed on the course. But you can always rent one of ours to make your round even more fun.
What will an annual pass cost?
Prices for golf will be released as we get closer to the opening of the golf course.
When will the driving range be open?
We are working hard to get the driving range to open Spring / Summer 2018.
